Join us for this free must-attend morning workshop at the KPMG Townsville Office where we will discuss the need for companies to take action now to step up to the demands of the new ESG reporting era, ensure readiness for the changes ahead โ€“ and be prepared to obtain assurance.

In September 2024, a key milestone was met as the Australian Government delivered on its promise to mandate sustainability reporting. The climate-related disclosures legislation passed both the Senate and the House of Representatives, the first ASRS were finalised and the first sustainability reports will be issued for the annual period ending 31 December 2025 for certain entities

The session will include a Q&A period where you will also have the opportunity to ask questions to our KPMG specialists, along with morning tea refreshments.

THE AGENDA WILL COVER

โ€ข Where we are today: Current position, passing of legislation and making of first Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards (AASB S1 and AASB S2).

โ€ข Where to from here: Directly hearing from the KPMG sustainability specialists on what this means for your organisation and valuable market insights into ESG highlights, trends and opportunities across sectors.
